The goal of this project will be to prepare a long-acting vasodilator nanomedicine for inhalation in PAH. The project will include the preparation of the sustained-release formulation of a selected vasodilator compound and its physicochemical and biological characterization in vitro.
It will also involve a contribution to the assessment of its lung pharmacokinetics in healthy rats and to the evaluation of its therapeutic efficacy in rat models of pulmonary hypertension. This competitive month project is funded the Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique www.
The project will be performed in collaboration with Prof. Raphael Frédérick UCLouvain, LDRI and Prof. Frédéric Perros of the University of South Paris.
